I will get back to the regular blogwhoring tomorrow. For today, inspired by Mel's post about the dancing hormones on The State - which I used to watch with my housemates waaay back in the day - I discovered the sketch that I've been quoting for years. Now, when you throw comments like 'aaawww yeeeaaaah' and 'aaawwwww yeeeaaaah, $240 worth of puddin'' you can't really expect anyone to know what the hell you're on about, especially if you are living, say, overseas.
Now, I am going to share the joy of pudding with you:
Britain's Christmas #1 - because they're like that:
Internets, violence isn't funny. So why do I laugh when I watch this?
Here are two more links, one to the unbelievably catchy Love Song, the other to the Hellboy II trailer. I thought the first movie was okay, but I'm more excited about seeing this one. And, it would appear that Guillermo del Toro will be directing, at some point, a new adaptation of Lovecraft's In the Mountains Of Mourning - woohoo!
Finally, this is quite possibly my favorite scene in any comedy that I've watched for the entire year. Who knew Alec Baldwin was a comedic genius?:
Oro out
I knew! He's been on SNL as many times as Steve Martin. I'm a loyal fan of 30 ROCK. He and Tina Fey are classic.
Loved the "Love Song" and "$240 worth of puddin'" Forgot about that one!
Thanks for the distraction on a slow Friday afternoon. I always look forward to your posts.

That's a lot of pudding! I do love that sketch. I have about six episodes on tape still. And that sketch is on one of them. Love the cheerleader one. And we constantly quote from the one where the kids are all teasing the boy and saying, "you like to eat your Grandma's clam chowder!" It's nice to quote State episodes :-)
