I gave notice at the grocery store today as I've been hired by the place I've worked on and off at for the past 17 years. 4 full days a week...which is giving me some issues, but i'll have to deal, and $10.50 an hour! Woot~!
Oro
Really? Of all things you won't eat - chicken noodle soup?
Congratulations on the new/old job, although I will be sad to miss the grocery store observations.

Damn, I knew I should have looked it up first! I was thinking Pho was that Phillipine specialty, y'know, the duck in the eggshell...?

OOh! I love Pho! There is a little viet place here that makes excellent tofu pho. Glad you looked it up ;)
Although, I was a little bummed to not see poi on the list. I just tried it recently, and it is an acquired taste...but interesting...
But I might be the pickiest eater over the age of seven...so there you have it.
The chinese have this think called a hundred year egg...which is what I think of when you say that duck thing, I have also seen that w/ a chicken. I agree w/ you there.
And yay on the job!

Ha! I was thinking to myself, girlfriend will eat haggis and black pudding but not pho?
Oooh yeah, no duck or chicken fetuses for me either. I don't know what that's called. But I don't think I want to know either.

Congrats on the new job!
I once tried tripe . . . I'd recommend that anyone add that to a "do not try" list!
