The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

Ha, trotted over to Lisa's blog (why, hello there!) and saw she'd linked to the 2008 winners of the Bulwer-Lytton contest.

Ye gods.

It Was A Dark And Stormy Night...

...my brain is 'splodey.

On the job front, I'll be working at the job I've worked on and off at for the past 17 years - 17!! And for $10.50 an hour, that ain't bad a'tall. I'll be doing full days, though, 4 days a week - incuding Saturday, natch, and I'm not sure how Mr Oro and I are going to work it as he does care while I'm at work. So far my schedule looks like this:

4AM - shower, eat/drink teak
4:30AM - pump
5:30AM grab the Chieftain if he's awake
8AM pump
9AM - leave for work
9:30AM-6PM - work
6:45PM - get home, pump
?? - make dinner, play with the Chieftain, sleep?
10PM pump
1:30AM pump
4AM - repeat process

...is it me or does that seem like, um, a strain?

Dear Customer,

I can understand putting your
frozen items in paper bag, and then
a plastic bag. However, putting all
your items in paper bags and then
plastic bags? Including dishwasher
detergent and tampons?

I hate you.

Yours,

A Cashier (who remains unimpressed)

Oro, who is glad she isn't going to have to wear a uniform anymore
