Dude, wtf? I feel...deprived...but am glad The Dark Knight has been completed. Damn, why did you have to do it???

I have been re-reading Andre Norton's Witch World books and damn, are they good. Or at least, they were good until some authors, who shall go unnamed but who are known for romance and fluffery, began to write in the Witchverse as well. But I've got the 70's to go through as well as the early 80's before that begins to happen. Thank goodness.

Forgot what else I had to say. Guess the Heath Ledger news has thrown me for a loop.
Oro out.
PS: Oscar thoughts? I've seen very few of the flicks, so I can't really say, but for those of you who have, what are your picks?
I just saw the news about Heath. so sad.
As for the Oscars- the only thing I have seen is Eastern Promises. Oh man was that a tough one. I mean it was good, but it was a hard one to watch.
I wish more movies were available to rent!

My mind is blown. They're calling it accidental? Who "accidentally" takes a bunch of sleeping pills anymore?

My guess is that he mixed sleeping pills with anxiety medicine, and either over the counter cold medicine or something prescribed for the pneumonia. That's how it could've been accidental. Sometimes people don't think about the drugs they are mixing. Then again I could be all wrong. It's so sad.

it saddened me too -- I tried to whine to one of my GF's (who is a police officer BTW) & all she would say was, "He shouldn'ta been taking dem drugs!"
Obviously not a fan!

I've been so very sad about Heath Ledger's death. Just so sad.
As for Oscar stuff, I think Julie Christie is amazing in Away From Her. Marion Cotillard was brilliant in La Vie En Rose but that movie needs some serious editing. Viggo was awesome but that movie has 5 very tough and brutal scenes. I always love me some Coen brothers but have yet to see No Country for Old Men.
