TheBeardedLady, my pic is of a member of the Ouled Nail, an Algerian tribal hillswoman who went to the big city to earn her dowry by bellydancing (some were what we would consider prostitutes as well).  They wore their dowry in the form of coin and jewelry, and unforunately, their time in the city wasn't the only danger, for many were murdered on their way back to their villages for the money they had earned.

I signed up. I have a solid three chapters already written...and now I am worried that I may not have the spoons to keep up. It is only 1600 words a day...but yikes. it's intimidating!
